Our recommendation for guests traveling from afar in groups would be to grab an AirBnb house nearby. Split amongst friends, this will be the most economical option. Alternatively, we have reserved a room block for a slightly discounted rate at the brand new Holiday Inn Express (opening in September) 20 miles from the venue. The venue is approximately a 3.5 hour drive from New York City. For those looking to take public transportation, there is a Trailways bus that goes from Port Authority to Oneonta. The station is walking distance from hotels & 20 miles cab ride from the venue.
For those flying: we suggest flying into Albany International or Syracuse Hancock International. Those will be the closest to the venue, but flights might be a bit more expensive. Alternatively, cheaper flights can be found to Newark Airport.
For transportation to and from your hotel we recommend A&D Transport Services or ABC Taxi.
Farm festive attire. Somewhere between black tie & hootenanny. Comfy shoes recommended.
We expect warm, lovely fall day weather, but it’s Upstate NY, so grab a layer for the evening!
Your presence is our gift, but if you wish to give – a contribution to our honeymoon is greatly appreciated.
The farmhouse has limited reception. Unplug and enjoy each others company!
The entirety of the food served will be plant based (duh!) with plenty of gluten free options provided.
Yes, we will be providing an open bar! Beer, wine & champaign only. BYOHardLiquor.
We love all your kids and love spending time with them, but this will not be a child-friendly event.
Make it a whole weekend getaway by exploring the beauty of the nearby town of Oneonta. Walk around and get breakfast on the quaint Main Street strip. Grab some cider at one of the nearby farms or downtown farmers market. Go for a hike at Robert V. Riddell State Park.
